Grace and Niles
Just thought I’d give you an update on my babies. Niles and Grace are getting along better. I think it was an adjustment for Niles. I think they actually like each other. They play all the time and Grace holds her own. Actually, I’m more concerned about Niles. He is allowing her a lot of space and she takes advantage of it. She is a really good dog and she’s getting bigger by the day. They are very smart together and Niles is teaching her all the tricks. When she initially cried in the crate when we put her to bed, he barked at her like he was yelling at her to go to sleep. He only needed to do this twice and she readily goes to sleep at night. Niles likes his bedtime and he wasn’t letting her interfere with that. Grace has learned to sit, lay down, and give her paw on command, as well as sits at the front door when she needs to go out. A few accidents, but generally doing well. Attached is a picture of them last night, when I had enough of their rough playing and told them to “stop”. They retreated and laid down together. I thought it was quite cute. They do like to be together all the time and Niles is patient when she drinks from his bowl. He just doesn’t like it when she takes his cheese ( his favorite thing). I’m glad we brought Grace home and Niles and her are becoming great friends. I guess I’m not use to the rough play. The only good thing is when Niles was a puppy, he use to bite us, now Grace has Niles to bite, so she doesn’t bother with us. Ha ha ….Thank you for such loving, beautiful puppies. We adore them every day!

LOVE THESE UPDATES!! and appreciate people taking time to send them
Toby is off to his new life tomorrow. We are always nervous about the flight but they get there safe and sound every time. This is a short flight (New York) and he doesn’t mind the crate so he’ll be fine. We send them with goodies (kong, juicy bones and or rawhide), blanket and toy that smells like us and frozen water. The boys will have to stay here, they trip is too long (2 hours to the airport) to take them and stop to see the new babies. I’m taking Fiesta and May (I can handle 2 not 6) Fiesta LOVES to go and I don’t like to leave May with the boys, sometimes they get to rough.
