Years and years ago all paintings of Poodles were Parti (parti means 2 colors)colored. Over the years the standard poodles were bred to be solid colors (although the smaller variety continued to have the parti colors). Parti poodles are gaining popularity because of their unique markings (which is the ONLY difference). They are AKC registered but only solid colors can be shown. UKC registration does give parti colors "equal rights". Named after the "friends" we have Monica, Pheobe, and Rachel (SOLD). Chandler, Joey and Ross (SOLD).
